Our cottages in the heart of Staniel Cay offer everything you could need for an unforgettable stay in the Exumas. With satellite TV, CD/stereos, refrigerators, private baths, Air Conditioning, and private porches.

Whether you rent one of our two bedrooms with full kitchens or a single with a kitchenette you will enjoy comfortable, clean and beautiful cottages. Each one of our cottages has it's own theme that is aimed at your natural surroundings in the Exumas.

Inside one of our Cottages

All of our single cottages have a Queen sized bed and a private bathroom with shower. The kitchenette is equipped with a mini refrigerator, microwave, toaster sink and coffee maker. Dishes and a table are also provided so you can eat in if you so choose.

You can sit in Air Conditioned comfort while watching satellite TV or just listen to your CD/stereo on the private porch. If you need another bed in the room they all have futons supplied, with towels and linens for your use as well.

Stepping into the different rooms you will be taken back as the rooms are all painted and decorated by Bernadette Chamberlain and all have a unique theme. Ocean World is an underwater dream as you are surrounded by Mahi-Mahi (Dolphin), Marlin and Tuna chasing Flying Fish and pike all around you. Don't worry there are no sharks in this underwater world. In Shipwrecked you will be cast away on a tropical paradise. Treasure chest line the shore and your palm frond curtains will shelter you from the warm sun of the Bahamas. If you get thirsty on your deserted island don't worry you can just head over to the refrigerator and grab a cold one.

Atlantica and Sunset Beach our two bedroom apartments

You will feel right at home in our roomy two bedroom apartments are fully equipped so you can enjoy an extended stay. Each unit has a nice living area with a dining area, full kitchen and sitting area. You will love to get some fresh fish and cook in your kitchen with a full sized refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and dishes. Then you can serve it in the lovely dining area while listening to music on the CD/stereo. In the sitting area you can enjoy watching satellite TV and sleep in comfort in one of the two private bedrooms with queen sized beds and Air Conditioning. There is also a pull out futon couch so each unit can comfortably sleep six.

Like our one bedroom units the apartments both have painted themes to bring the beauty inside as well as out. In Atlantica you will be taken to an underwater wonderland with mermaids swimming around protecting the treasures of the deep. Although purely fantasy just walking about the rooms will make you want to get out in out crystal clear water to experience the natural beauty for yourself.

Island Breeze House

Please enjoy our newest addition, the Island Breeze. Island Breeze is fully equipped with everything you need. A Dishwasher, full sized refrigerator and full sized stove to are available accommodate your needs. So relax and be free to enjoy the many sites and pleasures of the island.

Be sure to tell us if you are a pilot to get your discount. Also daily maid service is an additional 15% of price. To book accommodations with us we require a $200 deposit to hold the room. We only expect cash or travel checks, no credit cards and there is NO ATM on Staniel Cay. There is a minimum of 3 nights booking. We can arrange a Golf Cart for you to rent ($50 / day or $250 / week) or if you would like to rent a motor boat to explore the area by sea you contact the Staniel Cay Yacht Club at 242.355.2024 or Burkie Rolle 242.355.2007. We do not except pets in the cottages. During your stay please check out Bernadette Art Gallery just down the road.

Getting to Staniel Cay

Getting to Staniel Cay is easy to do from either Fort Lauderdale or Nassau. There are a couple of carriers who have daily and weekly flights. There are also many charter pilots who may have a more flexible schedule.
